General guidelines

Delivery data:
Attention: Please upload only ONE PDF file for every order – if necessary with several pages in the PDFs in the correct order for printing.

File type
PDF format is the only file format that we accept. PDFs should ideally be created In PDF/X format. Other file formats such as JPG, TIF, EPS, etc. cannot be processed.

Trimming
Elements / images which extend up to the edge of the final format must project at least 2 mm over the final format, in other words into the trimming area. This 2 mm strip will be cut off after printing and acts as "play" in the event of any blade differences.

Safety distance
To avoid elements such as images, logos or texts being cut off, they should be positioned at a safe distance away from the trimmed final format.

Colour range
Create the colours and images in your document using the CMYK colour range. The printing process only uses the colours cyan, magenta, yellow and black . RGB (red, green and blue) colours are suitable for displaying images on a monitor but not for printing, Any RGB colours will automatically be converted into the CMYK colour range. This means that in some cases, particularly where bright strong colours and Images have been used, colour changes are unavoidable.

Page format
If you submit multiple-page PDFs, all the pages must have the same page size. The data format should be equivalent to the trimmed final format plus the trimming area.

Resolution
The resolution provides information on how good the image quality is. The greater (finer) the resolution, the better the quality. A resolution of approx. 300 dpi Is required for a high quality print. If the resolution is below this value (the lower the resolution the worse the quality), this will affect the quality of the product, particularly in the case of images.
